Current Conditions and Updates
  • HWY 130 across the Snowy Range and HWY 70 across the Sierra Madre are now closed for the winter season.
  • The Forest Service's Centennial Visitor Center on the east side of the Medicine Bow Range on HWY 130 is open after being rebuilt a couple years ago. The new site has picnic tables, signs, exhibits, maps, and a short trail. The center is staffed Wednesday through Sunday from 9:30am to 6pm.
  • There are no updates to the 4th Edition at this time.
